Myit Son
The birth place of our famous River in Myanmar, Irrawaddy.
The upper one is MaLiKha (မလိခ) river and the lower one is MayKha (ေမခ) river. Two together give us One river, Irrawaddy. We call this place MyitSone (ျမစ္ဆံု).
Around 28-27 miles far from Myitkyina Township, Kachin State, Myanmar. Before Chinese from China came to dig the Gold out there, it used to a beautiful place and a beautiful and clean river but now as you can see on the picture. The width of the river become smaller and smaller and there are more and more sand deposit along side of the river due to gold digger at there, mostly people from PRC.
